The hierarchy labels Catholics who have moved beyond the boundariesof institutional religion in search of Spiritual growth "Fallen-away Catholics", as if not following the man-made rules and regulations signifies a loss of faith. As a 63 yr old WASP father and grandfather, the catholic church HAS to begin major change.
Many former catholics like me, who
represent an untold number who have
yet to, and may not, return even if
the church allows priests to marry.
Without this action, there is NO other way to begin to REMOVE THE STIGMA that is attached to the catholic church following (the continuing) scandal which is destroying young children... lives of children which will NEVER BE THE SAME.
Every time one of the children of this horrible past sees a priest, believe me it's STILL the only thing that is foremost on our minds. Just WHAT these type of people have done and still do to the catholic kids.
EVIDENTLY, THE "WRONG" CARDINAL BECAME POPE BECAUSE YEARS AGO, We falsely understood that with the coming of the current pope, priests WOULD be allowed to marry and have children, if they so chose.
NOWADAYS, Until THAT time the catholic church will continue to do and have more oF the SAME...
the catholic church "doing the 'SAME' thing and expecting different results" will
realistically, certainly bring the SAME results!
It needs to implement and allow priests to marry, normally just like all the MANY other religions.
How many millions of the "30 Million," is it 10%, 20%, 30% or more of them who expect and hope to see this Catholic Change?!
IS IT GOING TO HAPPEN? THIS STIL GOES UNANSWERED, WILL KIDS CONTINUE
TO HAVE CATHOLIC "SECRETS??!!"
THIS IS THE MOST HORRIFIC CRIME.
THE FACT THAT IT HAPPENS IN A CHURCH REGULARLY IS A TRAVESTY. THIS IS THE BIGGEST PIPELINE FOR HOMOSEXUAL/PEDIFILE DEVIANTS AND THEIR SANCTUARY OF EMPLOYMENT ON THE PLANET. IT HAS GOT TO GO AWAY!
